Simcoe, Ontario - Metalore Resources Limited (MET/TSXV) (“Metalore” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has commenced an exploration program at its 100% owned Cedartree mining claims, Kenora District, Ontario. The fine to coarse grain gold within this wide corridor occurs in fracture – fill quartz and quartz/carbonate veinlets that cross cut all known rock types including granodiorite, volcanic tuff, and gabbro. A map of the 2018 exploration target is also available on the Metalore website (http://www.metaloreresources.com/cedartree-property.html)
Results and direction from this program will be discussed by way of press release, illustrated in geological context on the website (GOLD page) and via presentation at the Annual General Meeting held Saturday, September 29 at the Erie Beach Hotel, 19 Walker Str., Port Dover, Ontario (11:30am).
SUPPORTING LOCAL INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES
In preparation for the exploration program, the local indigenous communities were contacted and meetings were held to discuss the positive impact of exploration activities on their traditional lands. Metalore will be conducting a prospecting course designed to provide practical field experience for both zinc and gold exploration. The course will enable indigenous community members to recognize massive sulfides hosting sphalerite, and visible gold in quartz veins. Each member who attends the course will leave with a mineralized rock sample from surface outcrop and will pan a rusty shear zone for gold at Metalore’s Cedartree property.
The Company actively seeks to employ local community members when it conducts exploration. By sharing opportunities we strengthen each other, and bonding with community interests is a CORE VALUE at Metalore. It’s when we all benefit, that exploration is truly successful.
