Cadan Boosts Technical Team With Appointment of Scott Robson as Head Geologist

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/25/12 -- CADAN RESOURCES CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE: CXD)(FRANKFURT: AOMZ25) ("Cadan") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Scott Robson as Head Geologist.

Scott Robson - Head Geologist

Scott Robson will be based in the Philippines to direct mine development and regional exploration at the Company's flagship T'Boli Gold Project. He is an Australian national and a graduate of Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, with a Bachelor of Science - Geology and Geophysics. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) since 1996, is a Competent Person and Qualified Person with respect to reporting gold Exploration and gold Mineral Resources. He has over 20 years experience in the mineral industry in Australia and south east Asia including more than 9 years operating in the Philippines, China, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. His experience covers underground gold mining operations, open cut gold deposits, large porphyry copper-gold projects and nickel laterites.

Through his private consultancy, Sun Gold Resources, Mr. Robson has supported numerous gold and base metals projects, most recently as Adviser at the Carmen Copper Project located in the Province of Cebu, a 15 million tpa operation and presently the largest mining project in the Philippines.

Mr. Robson started his career with major mining houses including BHP and CRA Exploration in the early 1990's and subsequently held line management positions with a number of Australian based mining groups including Resolute Samantha, Sons of Gwalia, Mt Grace Gold Mining and Geochemex Australia. He is proficient with modern exploration and mineral resource modelling platforms and is a "high end" user of industry standard software packages including Surpac. He is also a director of MineMap Australia (2005 to present), an international mining software company. His particular skill sets include resource and reserve estimation and mine planning, mine design, scheduling, and tailings dam design. He is co-author and presenter to peers of a number of technical papers published by AusIMM on geological modelling and resource estimation.
