Wallbridge Mining Reports on AGM and Organizational Changes
TORONTO, April 26, 2012 /CNW/ - Wallbridge Mining Company Limited
('Wallbridge') today reported on the results of its AGM and the organizational changes made at the Board of Directors meeting after the AGM. The following individuals were elected as Directors of the Company:
Warren Holmes Darryl Sittler
Alar Soever Parviz Farsangi
Rene Galipeau Roland Horst
Jon McBride Marz Kord
At the Board of Directors meeting after the AGM Warren Holmes stepped down as non-executive Chairman of the Company. He will remain as a Director. Alar Soever was appointed Executive Chairman. Mr. Soever resigned as CEO, and Mr. Marz Kord, President of the Company was appointed President and CEO. Other management changes included the appointment of Joshua Bailey, as Vice President, Exploration and Linda Zubal as Director of Corporate Communications.
Commenting on these changes Warren Holmes, out-going Chairman of the Company stated,
'The Board has spent a good deal of time planning these organisational changes and is very pleased with them, and confident that they will further strengthen the Company. Alar's new role as Executive Chairman will keep him very much involved in the Company, while allowing him greater flexibility to advance the prospects of our associated companies.
Marz's new role as CEO and President of Wallbridge will allow him more scope to implement his vision for the Company, and to move Wallbridge forward. All of this is one more exciting step in the evolution of Wallbridge. We'll look forward to another great year.'
