Troon Directors Re-Elected to Board; Directors Appoint CFO

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire - Nov. 22, 2011) - Troon Ventures Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:TVN) (the "Company" or "Troon") today announced that shareholders have approved the re-election of incumbent directors Colin K. Benner, Stephen P. Quin, John Robins and Zara Boldt at the annual general meeting of shareholders held on October 20, 2011. The Board of Troon is currently comprised of Colin K. Benner, Michael Kenyon, D. Bruce McLeod, Catherine McLeod-Seltzer, Jonathan Rubenstein, Stephen P. Quin, John Robins and Zara Boldt.
The Company also announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Steve Krause C.A. to assume the duties of Chief Financial Officer, effective October 20, 2011.
Mr. Krause is President of Avisar Chartered Accountants. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1997, and holds a Certified Public Accountant designation in the state of Illinois in the U.S.A. Mr. Krause has worked extensively with mineral exploration and development stage companies on the TSX Venture Exchange and currently serves as a director on the Board of Luna Gold Corp. Mr. Krause holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Trinity Western University.
