Arianne Resources is Taking Further Steps to Train Mine Workers at its Lac a Paul Project

DOLBEAU-MISTASSINI, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 04/15/13 -- Arianne Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: DAN)(FRANKFURT: JE9N)(OTCBB: DRRSF), the Commission scolaire du Pays-des-Bleuets, through its vocational centres, and the Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan Education and Labour Department are pleased to announce the signing of a letter of intent to create training services for mine workers as part of the Lac a Paul phosphate mine project in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region (Quebec, Canada).


Over the coming weeks, the three organizations will work toward concluding a partnership agreement that will create training programs to meet the labour needs identified to operate the Lac a Paul open-pit mine. This agreement will be announced officially at the time of signing. The training programs will affect various types of jobs, from pre-production to operations, including technical services.


This training will contribute to economic diversification in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region and increase expertise and qualified labour development for the region's mining industry while taking into account the cultural context and characteristics of the Mashteuiatsh community. It will build on the expertise developed over time by the vocational training centres, the school board's business training department and the Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan Education and Labour Department.


The Commission scolaire du Pays des Bleuets offers general education and professional training services to students of all ages who live in the Maria Chapdelaine and Domaine du Roy RCMs. Its mission is to be an open, dynamic organization that is constantly looking to provide quality educational services in collaboration with its institutions and in partnership with the community in order to ensure the success of every student, young and old, and to develop skills that will make them responsible and engaged citizens. By focusing on sharing expertise and mobilizing strengths and skills, it is actively contributing to the community's educational, social and economic development.


Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan is the political and administrative organization of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh (Ilnuatsh du Pekuakami) First Nation. The mission of its Education and Labour Department is to provide members of the Pekuakamiulnuatsh community, through its schools and services, with general education and diverse training programs that aim to educate, socialize, qualify and provide access to the labour market. It also helps to develop language and cultural skills in order to strengthen identification with and the feeling of belonging to the Pekuakamiulnuatsh nation, to support community members in their personal, academic and professional development and to provide last resort recourse to persons in need.
