Victory Ventures Forms Subsidiary to Evaluate and Pursue New Bio-Tech Industries
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Mar 25, 2014) - Victory Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:VVN)(FRANKFURT:VV0) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary, Victory H.E.M.P. Bio-Tech Inc., to actively pursue and conduct due diligence on new opportunities including, but not limited to, the agriculture, legal medical marijuana and bio-tech industries. The regulation changes in the medical marijuana program recently announced by Health Canada provides that after April 1, 2014, licensed producers of medical marijuana will be allowed to commercially grow medical marijuana. The Company intends to pursue all opportunities that may increase shareholder value.
Mr. Howard Milne, a Company director, has been appointed the first director of Victory H.E.M.P. Bio-Tech Inc. Mr. Milne has extensive experience in the Bio-Tech field. He was the Vice-President of a listed Bio-Pharma company with ties to China for six years where he was instrumental in raising in excess of 50 million dollars internationally, including in Germany, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Victory Ventures Inc. will maintain its resource interests and board of directors. The subsidiary intends to recruit business and science-oriented persons to enhance board of directors and examine the many opportunities in the new and exciting field of legal marijuana use and the hemp industries.
