MONTREAL, May 1, 2014 - Khalkos Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:KAS) is pleased to announce that it received the award of "Performance boursière - Société du Québec nouvellement en Bourse" that was presented on last Tuesday night at the 7th Gala of Quebec stock exchange in Quebec City. This award recognizes the company, publicly traded for less than 24 months, who has obtained the highest total return as well as the best market's performance in the past year. At the awards ceremony, President Robert Gagnon took the opportunity to offer his gratitude: "I would like to thank our shareholders and investors for their continued confidence in our company, despite the difficult environment for the junior exploration companies."
The company has shifted its corporate mission on more advanced projects since May 2013 under the new direction of Mr. Gagnon. Its exploration activities focus mainly on the research and development of high grade narrow-vein gold deposits in Abitibi.
