Xinergy Ltd. Announces Election of Directors

KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2014) - Xinergy Ltd. (TSX:XRG) ("Xinergy" or the "Company"), a Central Appalachian coal producer, today announced that the nominees listed in the management information circular for the 2014 Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders ("Annual Meeting") were elected as directors of Xinergy. Detailed results of the vote for the election of directors held earlier today in Toronto are set out below.

In addition, the following resolutions were also approved at the Annual Meeting: (i) the appointment of the Auditors; (ii) the amendment to the Corporation's By-Law No.1 to add an advance notice provision for nominations of directors by shareholders in certain circumstances; (iii) the option exchange program; (iv) the adoption of an amendment to the Company's Amended Stock Incentive Plan; and (v) the approval of all unallocated entitlements under the Company's Amended Stock Incentive Plan, all as further described in the Company's management information circular dated May 7, 2014.
