Fancamp Appoints New Director

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug 18, 2014) - Fancamp Exploration Ltd. ("Fancamp" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:FNC) is pleased announce that effective August 15, 2014, Mr. Mark Billings has been appointed to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Billings recently served as a Director and as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Development of Argex Titanium Inc., a company he co-founded in 2007. Prior to founding Argex, Mr. Billings served as Chief Financial Officer for private and public Internet companies from 2000 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, he was Vice-President of Corporate Finance with Desjardins Securities Inc., where he led a number of public and private financings and took companies public on the Canadian exchanges. Mr. Billings also served as President and CEO of Orex Exploration, which has a gold project in Nova Scotia. He has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Mr. Billings has been appointed to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Ali Al Hazeem. Mr. Hazeem has been appointed to the Company's Advisory Board where he will continue to provide guidance and support to the Company.
