RTG announces a Board and Chief Financial Officer change

AND AUSTRALIAN SECURITIES EXCHANGE

SUBIACO, Western Australia, Sept. 9, 2014 /CNW/ - The Board of RTG Mining Inc. ("RTG", "the Company") (TSX Code: RTG, ASX Code: RTG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ryan Gurner as the new Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the Company.  Mr Gurner was instrumental in the financial team at Sakari Resources Ltd., leading a number of new project developments on the finance side and is a key new addition to the RTG management team, as we move into the development phase for the Mabilo Project in the Philippines.

We would also like to announce the retirement of Mr Matthew Syme (previous CEO of Sierra Mining Ltd. ("Sierra")) who was appointed to the Board in a transitionary role, following the completion of the Scheme of Arrangement with Sierra.  Given the seamless handover to the RTG management team and successful grant of the Bunawan exploration permit, Mr Syme felt it was appropriate to now focus his time on his new endeavours.  We would like to thank Mr Syme for his valued contribution to the Board and wish him every success with his new ventures.
