Vancouver - Hunter Bay Minerals Plc ("Hunter Bay") (TSX-V: HBY) announces that it has appointed Natasha Tsai as a member of Hunter Bay's Board of Directors. Ms. Tsai has served as the Chief Financial Officer of Hunter Bay since May 2014.
Ms. Tsai obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2007, and earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 2001. Ms. Tsai has several years of experience and a thorough understanding of accounting issues related to public companies. She is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Neoteck Solutions Inc., and was previously the Chief Financial Officer of Redtail Metals Corp. and Arriba Resources Inc., and the Corporate Controller of Dejour Energy Inc., a junior oil and gas company. Ms. Tsai also provides consulting services for a number of other junior resource companies including Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd. and Inca One Gold Corp.
About Hunter Bay Hunter Bay is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral resource properties located in South America and Canada. Hunter Bay's lead project is the Sela Creek Project, located in Suriname, in which Hunter Bay owns a seventy percent (70%) interest and an option to acquire an additional ten percent (10%) interest.
