Cadan Engages Specialist Mining and Drilling Consultant to Advise and Consult on Underground Infrastructure and Development at T’boli Mine

VANCOUVER, BC / TNW-ACCESSWIRE / December 8 2014 / Cadan Resources Corp. ("Cadan" or the "Company") announces it has appointed Mr. Ian Mackenzie as a specialist Mining and Drilling consultant. Ian's primary role is to work closely with the Mine Manager in re-establishing access to the mine and consulting on all underground infrastructure and development going forward.

Cadan and Mr. Mackenzie have entered into a 2 year contract, commencing on 31st January 2015, with a joint option to extend for a further 2years. Key tasks include:

• -Provide consulting services on all the underground decline and development as per the mine plan for the T'Boli mine.

  -Advise on the supervision of a team of people involved with the underground development.

  -Provide guidance, supervision and leadership to the underground team.

  -Provide skills training for the local workforce.

  -Advise in the management of the mine through sitting on the board of Tribal Mining Corporation.

  -Provide input to the mine planning and geological drilling programs.

  -Maintain a watching brief on activities underground

Ian's extensive mining experience and in depth understanding of mining practices in the Philippines will add much needed expertise to the T'Boli mining team.

Ian brings a wealth of experience, working in the mining industry for more than 25 years. The majority of his career has been spent working as a mining contractor, therefore has experienced many and varied mining conditions contributing to his wealth of underground mining experience in particular.

Throughout these later stages of his career most of his time has been spent working in foreign countries with many different nationalities. This includes spending several years working in the Philippines at Lepanto's operation. Ian's experience includes 14 years working in Australia and New Zealand, more than 5 years in Asia and in excess of 5 years in Africa.
