Colonial Completes Acquisition of Tuya Energy Inc.
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Mar 31, 2015) - Colonial Coal International Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CAD) ("Colonial") is pleased to announce the completion of the previously announced plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") pursuant to which Colonial has, by way of an amalgamation between Tuya Energy Inc. ("Tuya") and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Colonial, acquired all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Tuya ("Tuya Shares").
The Arrangement was approved by shareholders of Colonial and Tuya at their respective shareholders' meetings held on March 19, 2015. Final approval for the Arrangement was obtained from the Supreme Court of British Columbia on March 26, 2015.
The Arrangement
Under the Arrangement, each Tuya Share was exchanged for 0.5 of a common share of Colonial.
