Arena Minerals Announces Stock Option Grant
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Apr 9, 2015) - Arena Minerals Inc. ("Arena" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:AN) granted an aggregate of 2,955,000 stock options to various directors, officers and consultants of the Company effective April 8, 2015. The stock options are exercisable at $0.17 for a period of five years and remain subject to the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The stock options remain subject to a statutory hold period of four months and one day expiring on August 9, 2015.

Currently Arena Minerals has two properties under option covering approximately 153,000 hectares. All the properties are within the Antofagasta region of Chile, at low altitudes and within producing mining camps. The Company flagship asset is the Atacama Copper Property, consisting of 149,235 hectares of essentially undrilled ground in the heart of Chile's premier copper mining district. In addition the Company has the Pampas El Peñon project, comprising a total of 3,400 hectares which is less than 1 km from Yamana's Agusta Victoria project which forms part of the El Peñon mine complex.
