TORONTO, May 13, 2015 /CNW/ - Kennady Diamonds Inc. ("Kennady Diamonds", the "Company") (TSX-V: KDI) is pleased to announce the latest drill results from the 100 percent-controlled Kennady North diamond project located in Canada's Northwest Territories.

Exploration/delineation drilling at the Faraday 2 kimberlite has now defined the kimberlite over a strike of approx. 200 meters from southeast to northwest. The latest drill results from the northwest lobe of Faraday 2 are detailed in Table 1 below and results from the southeast lobe are summarized in Table 2 below.

Kennady Diamonds CEO Patrick Evans commented: "Exploration drilling at the northwest end of the Faraday 2 kimberlite has yet to confirm the direction in which the pipe-like body is trending, but we have intersected a very encouraging 68 meters of undiluted kimberlite in vertical drill hole 033. We are continuing to test various options to confirm further continuity of Faraday 2."

Exploration/delineation drilling at the Faraday 1 kimberlite has resulted in the discovery of a southeast to northwest trending pipe-like body with encouraging intersects of as much as 35 meters. The latest drill results from Faraday 1 are detailed in Table 3 below.

Mr. Evans added: "While tracking the Faraday 1 kimberlite from southwest to northeast we initially thought that it may be a sheet-like body, perhaps comparable to the Kelvin sheet. However, results from the last eight drill holes indicate the presence of a pipe-like body, which is very encouraging. We have a good deal more drilling to do to confirm the continuity and dimensions of the F1 kimberlite."

Two further exploration targets were tested to the east of the Kelvin kimberlite without intercepting kimberlite at either target.

About Kennady Diamonds
Kennady Diamonds Inc. controls 100 percent of the Kennady North project which comprises thirteen leases and claims located immediately to the north and west of the four leases controlled by the Gahcho Kué Joint Venture between De Beers Canada (51%) and Mountain Province (49%) located in Canada's Northwest Territories.

Kennady Diamonds aims to identify a resource along the Kelvin – Faraday kimberlite corridor of between a 10 and 13 million tonnes at a grade of between 2 and 2.5 carats per tonne and also to identify new kimberlites outside of the corridor. The Kelvin – Faraday corridor is a target for further exploration. The tonnage estimate is based on the drilling completed to date. The potential quantity is conceptual in nature as there has been insufficient drilling to define a mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the target being delineated as a mineral resource.
