International Tower Hill Mines Announces Results from 2015 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders

VANCOUVER, May 29, 2015 /CNW/ - International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. ("ITH" or the "Company") - (TSX: ITH, NYSE-MKT: THM) announces the results from its 2015 Annual General Meeting of shareholders held in Vancouver, B.C. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 ("Meeting").

At the Meeting, the Company's shareholders fixed the size of the board at five and re-elected the following individuals as directors of the Company, with all receiving a majority of the votes cast, as follows:

The shareholders re-appointed the current auditors, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chartered Accountants, as auditors of the Company for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2015 and authorized the directors to fix their remuneration.

The shareholders also approved, on an advisory non-binding basis ("Say on Pay"), the compensation paid to the Company's executive officers by a 97% majority, and re-approved, by a 78% majority, the Company's 2006 Incentive Stock Option Plan and authorized, by a 79% majority, the continuance of the Company's Shareholder Rights Plan, both for a further three years.
