VANCOUVER, June 29, 2015 /CNW/ - Bear Creek Mining Corp. (TSX Venture: BCM) ("Bear Creek" or the "Company") announces that it has hired Barbara Henderson as its Director, Investor Relations.
Ms. Henderson was formerly Vice-President, Investor Relations of Pacific Rim Mining Corp. in Vancouver, BC where she designed, implemented and managed all aspects of Pacific Rim's public disclosure, corporate communications and investor relations programs. Ms. Henderson has over 20 years of investor relations experience, holds an M. Sc. (Economic Geology) from the University of Alberta and is a long-standing member of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute and the Association of Professional Engineers Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta.
In addition to her new role, Ms. Henderson will continue to fulfill the duties of the Company's Corporate Secretary who is currently on maternity leave.
