Titanium Corporation Announces Submission to Alberta's Climate Change Advisory Panel

15.10.2015  |  Marketwired

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Oct 15, 2015) - Titanium Corporation Inc. (the "Company" or "Titanium") (TSX VENTURE:TIC) is pleased to announce that the Company has made a formal submission to the Alberta Government's Climate Change Advisory Panel (the "Climate Panel").

"Our sustainable technology offers solutions that reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions ("GHGs") in mining oil sands, one of the sectors the Climate Panel is examining in its mandate to advise government on measures to reduce GHGs in Alberta", commented Scott Nelson, Titanium's President and CEO. "Recovering hydrocarbons from tailings reduces both GHG and Volatile Organic Compound ("VOC") emissions, improves water quality for recycling and accelerates tailings remediation. Recovering valuable minerals and lost hydrocarbons from tailings also creates added economic value and diversification for Alberta and the oil sands sector in a low oil price environment."

The Company's submission to the Climate Panel is public information under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act and may be viewed on Titanium's website www.titaniumcorporation.com/s/Presentations.asp and on the Advisory Panel's website alberta.ca/climate-leadership-get-involved.cfm under View Submission Library (submission #242).

About Titanium Corporation Inc.

Titanium Corporation's CVW™ technology provides sustainable solutions to reduce the environmental footprint of the oil sands industry. The Company's technology reduces the environmental impact of oil sands tailings while economically recovering valuable products that would otherwise be lost. CVW™ recovers bitumen, solvents and minerals from tailings, preventing these commodities from entering tailings ponds and the atmosphere: volatile organic compound and greenhouse gas emissions are materially reduced; hot tailings water is improved in quality for recycling; and residual tailings can be thickened more readily. A new minerals industry will be created commencing with the production and export of zircon, an essential ingredient in ceramics. The Company's shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "TIC". For more information, please visit the Company's website at www.titaniumcorporation.com.

Neither the TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
