WestKam Completes Bonaparte 2015 Drill Campaign
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2015) - WestKam Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:WKG) ("WestKam" or the "Company") reported today that it has completed a seven-hole, 583.22 metre drill program on the Company's Bonaparte Project located 50 kilometres northwest of Kamloops, British Columbia. The program began in mid-September and concluded earlier this month. Results are pending.
The 2015 exploration drill program was designed, in part, to evaluate high grade gold intercepts in the "Discovery Zone" along the Grey-Jay vein system at depth and along strike to the south beyond the limits of historical drilling. In addition, a significant component to the exploration drill program is the evaluation of historical and anomalous Cu-Au soil geochemical results overlying southeast trending and coincident IP chargeability and resistivity anomalies for Discovery Zone style gold mineralization. This is the first drill program in the history of the property where drilling has been conducted outside of the main Discovery Zone. A total of 306.4 m of NQ drilling was completed in four holes from two setups in the Discovery Zone and 276.82 m of NQ drilling was completed in three outside exploration drill holes, ranging from 350 m to 750 m to the east/southeast of the "Discovery Zone" decline portal.
All of the drill holes have been logged and photographed. Selected intervals of the core have been split and submitted to Bureau Veritas Minerals Laboratories for analysis.

The 2015 program represented an important follow-up to the results achieved from last year's work, which included mapping and prospecting, Volterra 3D IP and magnetic geophysical surveys and soil geochemistry. In particular, the Volterra 3D IP and ground magnetic surveys substantially extended the strike length of the Discovery gold zone trend. The extent of the zone's chargeability and resistivity anomalies has now been traced 1.2 kms from the Discovery Zone to the south-southeast, and the zone remains open.
