Royal Road Minerals Announces Resignation of Director

Toronto, April 29, 2016) - Royal Road Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: RYR) ("Royal Road Minerals" or the "Company"), a gold focused mineral exploration and development company, announces with regret, that Mr Hugh Devlin has resigned from the Board of Directors due to ill-health.

"Hugh Devlin was a co-founder of Royal Road Minerals and of Lydian International" stated Tim Coughlin, Royal Road Minerals' President and CEO. "Hugh has been a valued friend and colleague of mine for eleven years. He has helped guide two start-up companies through their growing pains, he has been instrumental in keeping our team safe and secure and in helping us forge strong and lasting bonds with our communities and other local stakeholders. It goes without saying that we will all miss him. On behalf of our team, his old friends and the local communities he worked with, we wish him strength in his current battle with his health and we look forward to him recovering quickly to full vigor and vitality"
