Verona is a veteran global leader in the legal, compliance and government relations functions and joined Peabody as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, Government Affairs and Corporate Secretary in August 2015.  She has more than 20 years of experience counseling diverse global businesses, which includes more than 10 years as in-house counsel and a multi-year secondment in Tokyo.
