Equitas Welcomes Michael O’Brien as Chief Financial Officer

Vancouver, British Columbia (FSCwire) - Equitas Resources Corp. (“Equitas” or the “Company”) (TSXV: EQT) (US: EQTRF) (Frankfurt: T6UN) is pleased to welcome the appointment of Michael O’Brien as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. O’Brien replaces Jody Bellefleur (CFO).

Mr. O’Brien has over 9 years of experience as CFO of TSX and TSXV-listed junior mining companies, including most recently as CFO of Golden Predator Corp. (TSXV: GPD), a gold company with several projects located in Canada, and prior to that, as CFO of Africo Resources Ltd. (TSX: ARL), a copper and cobalt company with assets in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He currently sits as CFO for BHK Mining Corp. (TSXV: BHK), a company with manganese assets in Africa. O’Brien is a Chartered Accountant and, including the above, brings more than 20 years of financial management and regulatory compliance experience to the Company.
