Dajin Resources Corp. Completes Direct Push Drilling at Gabbs Valley, Nevada

11.01.2017  |  The Newswire
Vancouver, January 11, 2017 - Dajin Resources Corp. ("Dajin") (TSX-V: DJI) (OTC: DJIFF) (Germany: C2U1) reports that it has completed its direct push drill sampling program at Gabbs Valley, Mineral County, Nevada, and has received laboratory analytical results. Six direct push holes were completed to depths ranging from 150 to 181 feet (45.7 to 55.2 metres), from which saline groundwater samples were taken. Salinities were highest in samples that were centrally located in the playa, ranging up to 49,000 mg/l of total dissolved solids.

In general, saline groundwater encountered in the direct push holes was of low to moderate salinity, and the maximum Lithium concentration measured was 1.1 mg/l. Mature brines, of the type formed by progressive solar evaporation and more likely to have elevated Lithium concentrations, could lie at depths greater than the depths drilled. Dajin is currently evaluating the geochemistry with respect to local and regional geologic, geochemical, and geophysical data to determine future exploration at the project.

Dajin holds a 100% interest in 690 placer claims covering 13,800 acres (5,600 hectares) in Gabbs Valley, where a playa with surface salt and mud flats occurs. The playa is considered a viable prospect for sub-surface Lithium brines because: 1) it is a deep, closed basin in a dry, desert environment, 2) geothermal activity occurs on all sides of the playa, including the south end where the Don Campbell geothermal power plant is located, 3) potential Lithium source rocks are found in much of the catchment basin, and 4) the catchment basin covers an area of 1,270 mi2 (3,295 km2; twice the size of Clayton Valley).

The technical information in this press release has been prepared in accordance with the Canadian regulatory requirements of National Instrument 43-101 and has been reviewed and approved on behalf of Dajin Resources Corp. by Dajin Directors, Dr. Catherine Hickson, P. Geo and Dr. Mark Coolbaugh, CPG, the Qualified Persons.

About Dajin: (www.dajin.ca)

Dajin is an early stage Lithium exploration company holding a 100% interest in 294 placer claims known to contain Lithium and Boron values in the Teels Marsh region of Mineral County, Nevada. These claims cover 5,853 acres (2,369 hectares) and are adjacent to the birth place of US Borax Corp's first borax mine. Dajin also holds a 100% interest in 191 placer claims covering 3,851 acres (1,558 hectares) in the Alkali Lake region of Esmeralda County, Nevada, located 7 miles (12 kilometers) northeast of Albemarle's Clayton Valley Lithium brine operation.

Dajin, through Dajin Resources S.A. ("Dajin S.A."), holds concessions or concession applications in Jujuy Province, Argentina that were acquired in regions known to contain brines with Potassium, Lithium and Boron values. These concessions exceed 93,000 hectares (230,000 acres) and are primarily located in the Salinas Grandes/Guayatayoc salt lakes basin. Dajin S.A. is partnered with Lithium S Corp. who has agreed to spend $2,000,000 to earn a 51% interest in Dajin S.A.'s Lithium properties while building a significant presence in Argentina.
