Encanto Potash Activates Potash Trading Company in Anticipation of Exports to India

VANCOUVER, March 30, 2017 - Encanto Potash Corp. ("Encanto" or the "Company") (TSXV: EPO) is pleased to confirm the incorporation of the Encanto Potash Trading Company (the "Trading Company"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Encanto Potash. The Trading Company will have the designated use for the trading of potash sourced from producing properties that are currently under utilized, alongside the concurrent development of the Reserves located on the Muskowekwan First Nation ("MFN") property.

Encanto's President Stavros Daskos stated that: "In addition to providing India with potash pre-mine construction, this sole-purpose vehicle enables Encanto to structure everything from short to long term supply agreements with existing producers, to envisioned merger and acquisition type transactions that would allow it to increase its supply capacity beyond the Company's flagship MFN property."

Chief Bellerose stated: "Encanto has included the Muskowekwan First Nation in the profit participation of the Trading Company and MFN is pleased that Muskowekwan Resources Ltd. continues its partnership with Encanto that stretches beyond the joint venture that we originally executed".

Stavros Daskos further stated that: "Recent discussions with suppliers for immediate supply of potash to India indicate that the price of potash is on the rise. There is middle ground to mutually benefit from, given Encanto's market access through its export opportunity agreements and the currently under utilized assets of others."
