Mr. Chapdelaine was previously appointed director of X-Terra Resources and member of the technical committee of the Board of Directors on January 19, 2017.

Mr. Chapdelaine has over 25 years of experience in the exploration, mining and drilling industry, including internationally. He holds a bachelor of science degree in geological engineering from the Université du Québec in Chicoutimi. After completing his Master studies on a Gold Bearing Banded Iron Formation in northern Québec with SOQUEM, Mr. Chapdelaine joined Virginia Gold Mines as Senior Supervising Geologist. Mr. Chapdelaine has been with Virginia for over 10 years where he was involved and instrumental for a number of gold and base metals discoveries in the James Bay and Northern Québec regions, including the discovery of the Gayot (Ni, Cu, PGE), the Coulon (Zn, Cu, AG) and outstandingly the Éléonore Gold Mine where he was directly involved in the sale to Goldcorp Inc.
