Alcoa Corporation Named to Dow Jones Sustainability Indices
Alcoa, a global leader in bauxite, alumina and aluminum products, has been named to the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), respected benchmarks for corporate sustainability. Only the most sustainable companies in each industry are considered for index membership.
Alcoa is included in both the World and North American indices. This is the second year Alcoa has earned a place on the DJSI World Index, which represents the top 10 percent of the largest 2,500 companies in the S&P Global Broad Market Index (BMI), and the first year for the DJSI North America Index, the top 20 percent of the largest 600 North American companies in the S&P Global BMI.
