OceanaGold Publishes Updated National Instrument 43-101 Technical Report for Waihi

MELBOURNE, March 29, 2019 /CNW/ - OceanaGold Corp. (TSX: OGC) (ASX: OGC) (the "Company") has published an updated National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report (collectively "Technical Report") for the Waihi Gold Mine located on the North Island of New Zealand. The updated Technical Report follows the release of the Company's Annual Information Form ("AIF") for the year ended December 31, 2018.
The updated Technical Report also follows the Waihi resources news release dated March 7, 2019 which announced a significant increase in Measured and Indicated Resources and Inferred Resources mainly from the Martha Underground Project and the WKP prospect. The Company continues to advance the Martha Underground Project to operations while drilling several underground targets and the WKP prospect.
The Technical Report has been prepared by qualified persons from the Company and is an update to the previous report for the Waihi Gold Mine dated November 24, 2015. It has been filed with the relevant stock exchanges and is also available on SEDAR and the Company's website at www.oceanagold.com.
