Auryn Resources Inc. To Place up to $500,000 in Additional Financing
VANCOUVER, Jan. 23, 2014 - Auryn Resources Inc. (TSXV: AUG) ("Auryn" or the "Company"), is pleased to announce that it intends to raise up to an additional $500,000 through a non-brokered private placement. The placement is to be offered under identical terms as the Company's recently completed Private Placement, raising $2,196,500 in November of 2013, and will consist of up to 1 million common shares of the Company at a price of CAD$0.50 per share (the "Offering"). The Company intends to use the net proceeds, as well as those from the November placement, to continue its pursuit of mineral property opportunities in Turkey and across Eurasia. At this time, the Company has not entered into any definitive agreement with respect to these acquisitions.
The shares under the Offering will be subject to a four-month hold period and will not be registered in the United States. No broker fees or commissions will be paid in connection with this Offering.
Closing of the Offering is anticipated to occur on or before February 12th, 2014 and is subject to customary closing conditions including, but not limited to; the negotiation, execution of definitive placement agreements and receipt of applicable regulatory approvals, including approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
