Sydney, Australia (ABN Newswire) - A1 Consolidated Gold Ltd (ASX:AYC) has reported the first results from mineralised quartz reef in the 1460 Level Access Drive at the Company's A1 Mine in North-eastern Victoria. Face chip samples up to 12,800 g/t Au with sample grabs up to 1,333 g/t Au. The Company is continuing to develop along this vein to assess the extent of mineralisation and stockpiling of the mined ore has commenced in preparation for processing.
Energia Minerals Ltd (ASX:EMX) advised that the first exploration diamond hole drilled at its 100% owned Gorno Zinc Project in northern Italy, has returned outstanding first assay results of 8.5m grading 13.6% Zn and 3.4% Pb (17.0% combined) within a larger intersection of 13.2m grading 10.9% Zn, 2.8% Pb and 53 g/t Ag. The intersection includes two massive sulphide intervals of 0.8m and 0.7m grading 52.7% and 55.2% combined Zn+Pb respectively.
Dacian Gold Ltd. (ASX:DCN) announced a 76% or 652 Koz increase of the Westralia Mineral Resource to 1.5 million ounces of gold at a grade of 5.1 g/t Au (above a lower cut-off grade of 2 g/t Au). The new estimate covers a continuously mineralised 2.8 km length of the Westralia gold system. Dacian has now discovered over 1 million ounces of gold at each of the Westralia Prospect and the Jupiter Prospect since its IPO in November 2012.
