Canadian Platinum Corp. New Director Elected-AGM Results
September 15, 2015 / TheNewswire / Saskatoon, SK-Canadian Platinum Corp. ("CPC" or the "Company"-TSXV:CPC) is pleased to announce the election of David Ludwar to the Board of Directors of CPC at the Company's Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders ("AGM") held September 11, 2015.
Over the past 30 years, Mr. Ludwar has held a number of senior management positions with major financial institutions, both in operational and strategic planning roles. Dave has extensive experience in communications, planning, project management, financial management and organization. He currently runs his own consulting business.
The Company also announces the retirement of Mason Douglas from the Board of Directors. Mason has been a director since the Company was founded and the current Board acknowledges his invaluable contribution to the Company, and wishes him all the best in the future.
Shareholders approved the following items and resolutions at the AGM:
- the re-election of Gary Billingsley, Douglas Billingsley and Jim Engdahl as directors.
-the appointment of Collins Barrow LLP, Chartered Accountants as Auditors of the Company.
-the renewal of the existing Stock Option Plan.
-the consolidation of the share capital of the Company, if deemed appropriate, at the discretion of the directors of the Company.
