GéoMégA Announces Closing of Another Private Placement for $265,200
MONTREAL, May 22, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Geomega Resources Inc. (“GéoMégA” or the “Corporation”) (TSX.V:GMA) is pleased to announce that due to the high demand received in the oversubscribed private placement (see press release May 15, 2018), the Corporation closed another non-brokered private placement (the “Offering”) consisting of 2,652,000 Units (as herein defined) at $0.10 per Unit for gross proceeds of $265,200. Each Unit consisted of one common share (each a “Share”) and one-half of one Share purchase warrant (each whole warrant, a “Warrant”). Each Warrant entitles the holder thereof to acquire one additional common share at a price of $0.15 per Share for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the closing date.
The offering is subject to receipt of regulatory approvals, including the final approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The securities issued will have a hold period of four months and one day from their issue.
The Corporation intends to use the proceeds of the Offering for work on the technology developments and working capital purposes.
