VANCOUVER, March 20, 2015 /CNW/ - Eco Oro Minerals Corp. ("Eco Oro" or the "Company") (TSX: EOM) announces that it has been advised of the passing of A. G. (Tony) Spat on March 5, 2015.
Tony was a founding director of Eco Oro (then Greystar Resources Ltd.) and was considered by all to be responsible for identifying and advancing the Company's Angostura Project in Colombia. His early recognition of the area's mineral potential and dogged determination to work through difficult access and civil strife to develop the Angostura Project are but one of several remarkable achievements in a long geologic career.
The Company extends its sincere condolences to Mr. Spat's family during this very difficult time.
