Athabasca Nuclear Corp. Announces Name Change and Symbol Change

Vancouver - Athabasca Nuclear Corporation (TSX-V: ASC) (“ASC” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to report a change in name from Athabasca Nuclear Corporation to Clean Commodities Corp. The Corporation will also undergo a trading symbol and website change.

“Clean Commodities Corp. is the unifying result of our work to assemble a diversified project base connected by the commonality that each underlying commodity is a significant contributor to the clean low-carbon future that all of us are a part of. Having assembled one of Canada’s leading lithium project portfolios, combined with our clean energy and metals groups, we believe that Clean Commodities Corp. has a great deal to offer our fellow shareholders in the years ahead,” stated Ryan Kalt, CEO of the Corporation.

The Corporation’s significant project acquisition activity during the first half of 2016 has throughout been underpinned by a common business strategy to assemble a leading portfolio of exploration projects in Canada that were each part of a broader clean commodity focus. In addition to attractive project-level attributes, the Corporation views each of its clean commodity groups as having favourable macro-demand trends driven by an ongoing global push for clean, low-carbon economies.

Effective June 10, 2016, the Corporation will commence trading under its new name and new symbol CLE on the TSX Venture Exchange.
