Kiruna Municipality Grants Northland Building Permit in Pitkajarvi
LUXEMBOURG, LUXEMBOURG -- (Marketwire) -- 05/11/12 -- Northland Resources S.A. (TSX: NAU)(OSLO: NAUR)(OSLO: NAUR.R)(FRANKFURT: NPK) ("Northland" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has received the building permit to construct the storage building in Pitkajarvi. The Kiruna Municipality Building Department issued the key permit on May 10, 2012.
Northland began construction, mainly earth works related to the railroad spurs and the road at the transloading terminal, in March 2012. The terminal is located in Pitkajarvi outside the village of Svappavaara. Iron ore concentrate will be transferred from trucks onto rail cars for transportation to the port of Narvik.

Northland is a development-stage mining company with a portfolio of iron ore projects in northern Sweden and Finland.
